The most important Social Issue for me.

I get really angry when people make stupid differences about if you are a man or if you are a woman. I believe that this differences exist and impose limits on us, since one is a baby. Because to one baby boy we wear it in blue, and for a female baby we wear it in pink. We give to the little boy car games and for the little girls dolls. Then in the school, the uniform for example makes the difference. Why girls cannot use pants? Its very much cozy, if they wanna run, for example. The social construction about gender is very bad, make us believe about conducts that are right or wrong depending of the gender, in this way the society limits us to do things. there are many questions, for example, why the society think that a man cannot cry? Or why we thing that is strange that a man wants dance ballet?.I believe that the physical differences don’t define pleasures. People look strange when they see a woman playing football, but don’t look in this way when a man do the same. So its time to break the traditional thinking of the society about gender, its time to free us , so people do what they wanna do , independent of their gender and that the people stop see strange behaviors that are very normal of the human, above of their sex.

A very special person

I’m going to talk about my grandfather, he is a very good man and for me is my example to follow. Firstly, He always was hardworking. When he was a child he gone alone to school, only because all others children did that, then he worked in a mine and he was called “The good man” I believe that for his personality. Secondly, He is the most kindly, for example, when my mother was a college student, he every morning leaves her breakfast in a tray in the kitchen and he paid the first part of my apartment without asking for the reward. Also, He is so protective because now he has alzherimer, but the only one thing that he hardly ever forget is the name of my grandmother, is his only preoccupation. Where is she? he asks. He gives to her his food, he do all that my grandmother wants him to do. He gives much love and kisses to her. For his effort, his generosity, and his devotion for the people, he is my example to follow. 

My Best Holydays

Is a little difficult for me choose only one vacations, because in all vacations i do very similar
 things. But if I got to choose only one I choose my vacations in Algarrobo.

Algarrobo is a little beach, near to my city Santiago. For this reason, the travel is short time.

The things that I like more, is that there goes my family, and this has been since before I born.
The history of vacations in Algarrobo begin with my uncles.
My aunt's husband had a Little house in form of A. but the home was so little for many people
that went there, so after they get married, and then they build their own house opposite the
 other old house (  That is the home that I actually  go), and all summers they go with more
 uncles and my cousins.

Personally, I adore stay in the beach, I can stay all day between swim in the sea and lean back under the 
sun and play pallets. in some places of the beach of Algarrobo there are not limits for swimmers, so I can
 swim until the boats!

Well, other reason is that I meet with many funny people there, I have neighbors, friends of the beach,  
 friends of my school that have houses there! So hardly ever I´m alone. In general with this persons we
 went out in the nights to  craft fairs ,  we sang songs with a guitar ,we play cards or dudo and we speak 
about our stories that we live in the last year.

I think that my best vacations is not something amagazine or “how in dreams” , but for me to
share with people that make you happy and you love them, and besides stay in the beach, the
 mix of this thigns become in my best holydays.

Music and Sports

The kind of music that I like is a music that other age jajaja. I usually lisen music Argentina, how Los Autenticos Decadentes, Kevin Johansen, Fito Paez, and the most important Andres Calamaro, I wish than he will travel for a concert to here in Santiago, Chile. Yes, because Calamaro too called  “El salmon”,  is one of my three music prefer that I need see in live. The other two is Joan Manuel Serrat ( a old singer from Spain)  and Jack Johnson ( a musician and surfer that lives in Hawaii).

Otherwise I like very much sport. Since always. When I was a little girl a dream to be a professional tennis player, I begin play this sport when I was 13 years old until 15 years old, when I win a championship. But was in that moment when I realized that I didn’t like the competition, I felt very nervous, and I don’t like feel that. But in my school I continued player any sport. Nowadays Im still doing the same, because all sports that mean run, friends and laughs I want to play them J.

Subject you enjoy stuying this semester

In this semester I like very much environmental economics. I never thought that I can say that but is real. It was a surprise, well I like this subject because are help me to understand topic that before I didn´t understand how corporate taxes, environmental projection, rights of private, projection from state

I believe that this year I punt more attention and concentration because the last year I almost lose the subject ( that was Geography economics). Result that this year I can get ( in the first test) one of the most high notes. Yujuuu : D and this produced me more motivation and enthusiasm.

Also the schedule help me, because this class I have all Fridays in the morning and lasts  since 8:30 am. , still 10:00 am. Is a short time, and you didn’t have time to boring. Althought the second part of the class is more hard, the teacher is other person that the first class, is a woman more demanding. But well I belive that worth it  because the works that she sends us is funny for me. ( for example, the last work we have to investigate is about how much hydroelectric contaminate)

I have to investigate about that :) 

An expert on my field

 Nowadays, I believe that Marcelo Lagos is a expert on my field, he is the face of my career Geogrpahy, because lately  have been very natural accidents, for example volcano eruption; in Villarica ( march, 2016) and in Calbuco ( April , 2015), alluvium in the north ( march, 2015) and frequently earthquakes are only some natural events ( with consequences to people) that need have explication. 

Marcelo Lagos was born in 25 July of 1972 ( soon will be his birthday :O ) in Arica. He studied Geography in Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, and he finish in 1997,Then he work how teacher of Geography in the university Pontificia Católica de Chile and with
time he become in diplomat director in geomatics and doctorate sub-director of geography of the same university.

He studied especially earthquakes and tsunamis. This is the reason that he can explain us too much. He is called from TV, many times he appears, too he is called from the news. For that he is so famous now and many people knows him. And too knows my career, before little knows

My worst nightmare when I was a child , teenager and now.

When I was a little girl my worst nightmare was be alone in my house in the night jajaja is classic!! I really don’t remember much but too I had fear of accidents of cars, because my family traveling overmuch to Rancagua , all weekend (because all my grandparents live in Rancagua) well that is how it went still I belonged to scout jiji. Since at moment I was some weekends or sometimes only Sundays J.

When I was teenager and still now, my worst nightmare are lose someone that I love, family, friends, mascot, etc. I know that is part of life but I can not assimilate that, I Think that the reason is that still I have not lost

The second nightmare in this moments are all tests of the university jajaj because I never really know ,
what note I will have? Sometimes when I belive that I was right, finally I was wrong L  , or sometimes
when I thing that I was wrong after I was right. Although really the last situation don’t happen hardly 
ever jajja

Inside scout are very ceremonies, one of them are the promise, I can not say that we do in this situation but I can tell us that ours name change to names of the book " The Jungle Book" of  Rudyard Kipling ( because we use activities for they learn virtues , and this book is how a fable that we take how model to follow). So my name is Akela, the wolf that guide the herd ( is how the father that all them), Marta is Raksha the mother of the herd and my nine wolves are: Dahinda, Naway, Chicay, Tenaji, Sahi, Mang, Koo, Brumby and Barasing ( in the same order that in the beginning) and this is my amazing word all Saturdays :)

Friends

Before all I will name my actually friends. They are Principally, Barbara , Carla, Esteban, Felipe and Coni.( almost all them of school jijij ).
Really I have care about  many people but I consider that the really friends are peolple trustworthy that you can call in any place and any moment, and for this not exist many peolple, is natural.

I must admit that this stange in my life is hard about friends, because many friends of school I left in the past, because differences opinions, likes, thoughts, etc.
I will always remember good moments, but I have to accept that all are changed (and me too). this is the life. 

My sister Aracelly, my mom ,and my cousin Cata are for me very special friends, they have been always in my life and I have absolute confidence in hers. 

Once upon a time a writer said "the friends are a important support  and who find one have a  treasure valuable" , I consider that,he said a big trught :)

My favourite piece of technology

My favourite piece of technology is the notebook, because its very practical, I can go with it everywere. Sometimes in class I use it, because I write faster. Too in notebook I can keep my subjects of university, my photos (because I keep them in folder, not only on Facebook, just in case), also keep my music, I adore listen music, I like to learn lyrics and sometimes learn chords from songs (if I like songs very much). Besides, in my notebook I use internet so I look for information (works for university), I talk with my Friends (Facebook in general), and I send information to my father so he bring it to me. And well, this is the stuff i like from notebook. 

What I dreamed to be (about studies)

When I was a little girl, my dream was be player tennis, I also played a make teacher, because I liked read and write in board and I had many papers and put a note to them jajaja. But with the time I really dont know well, what I went studied, Althought I began like natural sciences, and in this moment I decided study Geographic.

My experience when I arrived at university was good, in the first year I found new friends and I found my boyfriend too. Besides the faculty and the teacher that stay there are acomodative and very intelligtent and affectionate people.

I really still don`t know about my future, but I hope work in something that care about nature, because this is our home. 

Who I am

Hello !! My name is Rocío Lecaros I was born in 1996 , Santigo of Chile. Now I am 20 years old , and I study Geographic. 

I like do many thinks, how sing, play football, I love swim in the sea for vacations, but more that all, I like see my friends and my family.

My favorite film is The Big Fish because I find interesting the way to thing of the movie in general , the Director is Tim Burton ,who usually creates movies fantastic. This movie for me is funny and always, when finish the movie  feel energy for realice or start  plans in my life, how do the principal personaje “Edward Bloom” that  search  adventure all time, and I belive that search adventure and learn abaut this is the light of the life.

Also,  my favorite book is “Mil Soles Esplendidos” ( in spanish) or “ Thousand Splendid Suns” ( in english) of Khaled Hosseini , this book taste a real sad history , I say real because is based in a real context of war and discrimation at womans in Afghanistan, the history is abaut two womans that are married with the same man, He is savage with they and the two womans figths for escape of he and be free, away that Afghanistan reality.

Finally speaking for my self , I adore eat , and my favorite food is Tomatoe, every day I eat one or two, or three ,while more, better the day J
